Growth plan for Posh Peanut, 6 Oct 2026
Scale spend. Hold CAC.
Posh Peanut already holds proof: the Joanne Footie Ruffled Zippered One Piece carries 3280 reviews at 4.9. This plan spends $24,000 on tests over six weeks and protects one number, a target CAC of $20.64.

10 chapters, then the gates and every number’s source.
01 The number
Hold $20.64 CAC while 3280 reviews carry the first ads
The number to protect is a CAC of $20.64. It is not a forecast. It is a guard line: 0.6 of a $34.40 ceiling built from a $43 average order, a 40% margin and one repeat order. Spend scales only while we sit under it.
Protect
Target CAC: $20.64 on a first purchase
Ceiling = average order × margin × (1 + repeat orders): $43 × 40% × (1 + 1) = $34.40. Guard line = 0.6 × $34.40 = $20.64. Across the ranges: $4.20 to $240.30.
Three moves
- Kill losing ads early so spend moves only toward ads that stay under $20.64.
- Open with the Joanne Footie reviews, then test gift sets and Disney tutu sets, one variable at a time.
- Track order value against the free shipping line so a bigger cart is not mistaken for a cheaper customer.

02 Variety
Gift sets, tutus and footies each need their own angle
Each concept has to carry one reason to buy and one product. The Joanne Footie brings 4.9 stars, the boxed gift sets bring the occasion, the Disney tutu sets bring the characters. One variable changes per test, so a loss tells us why.
| Reason to buy | Proof you already have | Ads (proposed) |
|---|---|---|
| Ultra-soft bamboo viscose | Designed with our ultra-soft Päpook® viscose from bamboo | 6 |
| 30-Day Returns | 30-Day Returns | 3 |
| Quick changes | 2-way zippers that make quick changes a breeze! | 2 |
| Free U.S. shipping | Free U.S. shipping on orders $50+. | 2 |
| Newborn gift sets | Headwrap fits Newborns to approximately 12 months | 2 |
| Disney twirl sets | Bring Disney charm to every twirl! | 2 |
| Reviews on the Joanne one piece | 3280 reviews | 1 |
| Total | The ad concepts tab | 18 |

Each row is a reason to buy that the brand already has proof for. The count is how many of the ads carry it: a reason with a single ad is a bet, not a pattern, and the next batch of concepts moves toward the reasons that win.
03 Disturbances
Free shipping at $25 and $50, and gift boxes, are the first risks
| Disturbance | Likelihood | Impact | Owner | Gate (proposed) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free shipping reads $25 in one place and $50 in another | Med | High | Your team | One threshold live on every page before the first ad launches |
| Gift boxes do not count toward free shipping, so gift-set carts can surprise buyers | Med | High | Both | Gift-set ads state the shipping rule; gift-set cart drop-off reviewed weekly |
| Hair clips carry a choking hazard warning for children under 3 years | Low | Med | Me | Claims sheet flags small parts; no clip ad goes live without the warning |
| Tracking gaps hide true CAC until purchase events are fixed | High | High | Your team | Purchase events match the order count before week two spend begins |
| Creator content drifts into claims the brand does not make | Med | High | Me | Every video checked against the claims sheet; zero unchecked posts go live |
| CAC stays above the $34.40 ceiling after the six-week ramp | Med | High | Both | Scaling stops if blended CAC is above $34.40 at the end of week six |
| Holiday processing of about 5-10 days sours first orders | Med | Med | Your team | Processing time stated on landing pages and ads before holiday spend starts |
Scores are my read from outside the company, re-scored in week one with your data. Each risk has one owner and one gate that can be checked with a number, so nobody has to argue about whether it happened.
04 The ceiling
A $34.40 ceiling on a $43 order, with $20.64 as the guard
| Line | Value | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Average order | $43 (range $8.00–$178.00) | Assumption Range from the site product prices (Published); the midpoint is a guess |
| Gross margin | 40% (range 35–45%) | Assumption Replace in week one |
| Repeat orders after the first | 1 (range 0.5–2) | Assumption Replace with cohort data in week one |
| Margin per customer, all orders | $34.40 | Calculated Average order × margin × (1 + repeat orders) |
| Guard line for CAC | $20.64 | Calculated 0.6 × the margin per customer |
The math, with the assumed lines
Ceiling = average order × margin × (1 + repeat orders): $43 × 40% × (1 + 1) = $34.40. Guard line = 0.6 × $34.40 = $20.64. Across the ranges: $4.20 to $240.30.
Range across the assumptions: $4 to $240.
None of the inputs is a fact yet: the $43 order, 40% margin and one repeat order are guesses. They give $34.40, and $20.64 is 0.6 of it. Week one replaces them with your real numbers.
The ceiling is a range, not one number: the most a new customer can cost before shipping and packaging, which I do not have. Replace the guessed lines with yours and every figure below recalculates.
05 Test ramp
$24,000 of tests across six weeks, twelve to twenty ads
| Week | New ads × budget / ad (proposed) | Weekly test spend | Cumulative | Creators posting | CAC target (proposed) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 12 × $250 | $3,000 | $3,000 | 0 | $21 |
| 2 | 12 × $250 | $3,000 | $6,000 | 2 | $21 |
| 3 | 12–20 × $250 | $4,000 | $10,000 | 4 | $21 |
| 4 | 12–20 × $250 | $4,000 | $14,000 | 6 | $21 |
| 5 | 20 × $250 | $5,000 | $19,000 | 8 | $21 |
| 6 | 20 × $250 | $5,000 | $24,000 | 10 | $21 |
Weeks one and two run 12 ads at $250 each, $3,000 a week. Weeks three and four run 12 to 20 ads, $4,000 a week. Weeks five and six run 20 ads, $5,000 a week. Total $24,000 of tests, with $14,000 cumulative by week four.
The math. Week 1: 12 × $250 = $3,000; Week 2: 12 × $250 = $3,000; Week 3: 16 × $250 = $4,000; Week 4: 16 × $250 = $4,000; Week 5: 20 × $250 = $5,000; Week 6: 20 × $250 = $5,000. Total $24,000 (96 ads × $250). A range such as 12–20 counts as its midpoint.
Weeks one and two test what the brand already has, rewritten per reason to buy. From week three, creator videos enter paid only after they beat their own account median. A range of new ads counts as its midpoint in the spend column.
06 Volume
More concepts, more winners: 20 to 80 concepts a month
More concepts mean more chances at a winner. Assumption: 20 concepts give 2 winners and $18,000 added a month; 80 concepts give 8 winners and $72,000. Hit rate and spend per winner are guesses, so week one starts measuring them.
| Concepts tested / month | Hit rate (assumed) | New winners / month | Spend each winner holds (assumed) | Added spend at target CAC |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 20 | 10% | 2 | $300 / day | $18,000 / month |
| 40 | 10% | 4 | $300 / day | $36,000 / month |
| 60 | 10% | 6 | $300 / day | $54,000 / month |
| 80 | 10% | 8 | $300 / day | $72,000 / month |
The math. 20 concepts × 10% = 2 winners × $300 × 30 days = $18,000 a month; 40 concepts × 10% = 4 winners × $300 × 30 days = $36,000 a month; 60 concepts × 10% = 6 winners × $300 × 30 days = $54,000 a month; 80 concepts × 10% = 8 winners × $300 × 30 days = $72,000 a month.
The hit rate and the spend each winner holds are placeholders. The first thirty days of tests replace them with real numbers, and the table is recalculated the same day.
07 Allocation
Of $100,000, the largest share scales winners under $20.64
- New ad tests on Meta across gift sets, footies and tutus
- $25,000
- 25%
- Scaling winners that hold under $20.64
- $55,000
- 55%
- Creator pay and product for the first ten creators
- $12,000
- 12%
- Landing pages and tracking fixes
- $8,000
- 8%
This split of the $100,000 budget is my suggestion: tests stay near the $24,000 ramp and the rest waits for winners under $20.64.
The math. 25% × $100,000 = $25,000; 55% × $100,000 = $55,000; 12% × $100,000 = $12,000; 8% × $100,000 = $8,000. Sum 100% = $100,000.
This split is a proposal. It moves toward scaling as winners prove out, and toward testing when fatigue shows.
08 Channels
Meta opens first; other channels wait for proof
| Channel | Open when (proposed) | Why wait |
|---|---|---|
| Meta | Week one, with the first twelve ads | Creator videos and gift-set ads can be tested here fast, one variable at a time |
| TikTok | When creator videos hold CAC under $20.64 on Meta | The same videos travel; Disney tutu sets and footies suit short try-on clips |
| After a boxed gift set wins on Meta | Gift sets and Patoo blankets fit gift and nursery planning searches | |
| Google Shopping | Once the product feed is clean and tracking is fixed | Searches for Joanne Footie capture demand the ads create |
| After the first purchases flow in | Repeat orders are inside the ceiling: one repeat order is what makes $34.40 possible |
A channel opens when its condition is true, not when the calendar says so. Until then the budget stays where the CAC is earned.
09 Payback
A $40 CAC never pays back; a $10 CAC pays on the first order
Payback is the real constraint. At a CAC of $10 the first order pays back and leaves $24.40. At $20 it takes repeat orders and leaves $14.40. At $40 it never pays back, minus $5.60, and at $50 minus $15.60. Anything past the ceiling stops.
Cumulative margin per customer, order by order, before CAC: $17.20, $34.40.
| CAC (scenario) | First-order margin | Year-one margin | Left after CAC | Payback |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $10 | $17.20 | $34.40 | $24.40 | First order |
| $20 | $17.20 | $34.40 | $14.40 | After repeat orders |
| $40 | $17.20 | $34.40 | −$5.60 | Never: stop |
| $50 | $17.20 | $34.40 | −$15.60 | Never: stop |
The math. CAC $10: $34.40 − $10 = $24.40 left; pays back: First order; CAC $20: $34.40 − $20 = $14.40 left; pays back: After repeat orders; CAC $40: $34.40 − $40 = −$5.60 left; pays back: Never: stop; CAC $50: $34.40 − $50 = −$15.60 left; pays back: Never: stop.
Read each row left to right: the margin of the first purchase, the margin over the whole horizon, what is left after CAC, and the purchase on which the CAC is earned back. A scenario that never pays back is a stop, not a test.
10 Scope
What I cover, and what stays with your team
Covers
- Ad strategy, ad testing and weekly creative rounds on Meta
- Creator sourcing, briefs and the hook library
- Landing page briefs for gift sets, footies and tutu sets
- Reporting: daily CAC, weekly learnings, monthly cohort payback
Doesn’t
- Building event tracking: I spec it, your team implements it
- Product, pricing and the free shipping rule
- Fulfilment, processing times and customer service
- Health or safety claims beyond the brand's own wording
What this plan covers is what I can change inside the ad account and the creator program. Everything outside it is named on the right so nobody assumes it is handled.
Gates, written before spend, so stopping isn’t a negotiation.
| Day | Keep going if (proposed) | Stop or change if |
|---|---|---|
| Day 14 | Purchase events match orders and at least two experiments have a clear loser killed | Tracking still unreliable: pause spend until it is fixed |
| Day 30 | CAC is under $34.40 on test spend and one winner is repeating | CAC above $34.40 with no winner in the hook library |
| Day 60 | Blended CAC holds near $20.64 while weekly spend rises | CAC above $34.40 for two weeks running |
| Day 90 | Cohort payback shows repeat orders covering CAC, as the ceiling assumes | Repeat orders do not arrive; the ceiling no longer holds |
Each gate is checked on its day with the numbers in the daily and weekly reports. If the stop condition is true, the spend stops and nothing renews until we talk.
What exists, what’s missing, and the order that’s forced.
| Piece | Exists today | Missing | Forced order |
|---|---|---|---|
| creative | 3280 reviews and a 4.9 rating on Joanne Footie | Ad concepts per product and a hook library | Week 1 |
| claims sheet | Fabric wording: 95% Viscose from Bamboo, 5% Spandex | One sheet of approved wording | 1st |
| creators | Eight Disney Short Tutu Sets at 60.00 BRL each | Creator roster and briefs to build | 2nd |
| landing pages | Free shipping stated at $25 and at $50 | One threshold, one page per hero product | 2nd |
| reporting | Product data carries rating and review count | Daily CAC view and event spec | Week 1 |
The order is forced on purpose: creative and creators come first because they are what moves CAC, and everything else waits for that data.

Month one is where it starts.
Week one: I build the claims sheet from your product pages, brief the first creators on Joanne Footie and the Disney tutu sets, spec the tracking with your team and launch twelve ads on $3,000 of test spend.
